My last baby story...

OH NO! My last baby story! That's because mommy says that I'm no longer a baby and that I am a toddler. So, as my last baby story entry I wanted to say that I'm doing great! and my next blog will be announced as soon as possible!

Here is a picture of me at the KSU fountain! Mommy and daddy frequently take me here to walk around! I love walking around the fountain!

I also love playing with other toddlers! Unfortunately, I accidently kicked a little boy in the butt and pulled his hair! Mommy was upset. Daddy laughed!

Aunties turtle and me!

I just love Auntie's turtle! It makes me laugh really loud and I love to ride it! She says it's mine if I want it, but mommy says we'll keep it at Auntie's house so I have somthing to do when I visit!!!!

I can walk and run now. I have 6 teeth with 7 & 8 coming in quick. I even got in the pool today! All the way to my waist!!!

1st Bike Ride!

Here is daddy and me going for my 1st bike ride ever! Mommy picked out my seat and helmet. My helmet can change from a frog, to a fish, or a bumble bee! I love my bike rides, although I'm not to crazy for the helmet! I just hate hats!!!

My 1st ride was fun. We went all over Ravenna! I love being able to look around at everything. Mommy and daddy like the fact they can take me along on their bike rides! They say it's great to get fresh air and exercise! Well, I'm off to investigate a pool! We're going swimming!

Tooth #6!!!

It has arrived! Tooth #6 has reared it's ugly head! I have 6! Mommy and daddy has also determined that I will have blue eyes. They learned that by 6 months of age, I should have all my pigmentation in my eye for any color. It's still blue! Mommy says let's wait and see, but daddy justs laughs and says, "I told you so!"

Well, nothing else new to report! Just growing like a weed! I do enjoy going into my turtle pool! I have to wear my sandals though. I won't go barefoot!!

Tooth #5!!!!

I have 5 teeth now!!!! Wow it hurt coming in, but it was better than my top teeth!! Mommy and daddy think more are on the way soon!

It's been hot too! Mommy and daddy try so hard to try and get me to go swimming, but I just don't want too. I like playing in the water with my hands, but I don't want to get in! Pappo says that if the waters warm like a bath, then maybe I need to be naked like in a bath! I might enjoy that, but who knows!?! :> Mommy said she try it. It'll be hot today, so maybe today!

Well, it's nap time so I got to go!!

Nothing new...

There hasn't been anything new to report I'm afraid. I've been walking and starting to run now. I've also been enjoying walking outside and getting dirty!! Well, I've got to go now. Bedtime!!

Ready to Run!

Wow! It sure is warming up! I can't wait till I can go outside and run and run! I'm ready!

I've got all 4 teeth so now I can eat so much different food. I'm just having a hard time learning how! I had grapes (cut up) and a hot dog (also cut up) the other day! Mmmmmm, Mmmmmmm good!

Daddy says I'm really tall compared to the other 1 year olds! I didn' t know 31 inches was tall! Well, I better get going. There isn't much to report! Well, there is one thing. Mommy's good friend is having a baby too. Mommy says I could have a playmate soon! That's wonderful! There isn't any parks around here! I could use some company!

4 Teeth!

Hi all!

Tooth #4 finally busted through! It was rough, but I made it. There was bleeding, crying, no eating... the works! But now I'm happy! I've got 4! Now I can eat just a little more stuff!
YAY!

I'm 1!

Well, my birthday has come and pass! It was April 2nd! I turned 1 year old! I had a ball! There were 2 little girls and 1 other boy at my party! I had a Sesame Street Birthday cake and a balloon smash cake! It was mmmmm mmmmm good! I even got it on my mommy! She looked silly with cake all over her face and shirt!

I had a bunch of balloons too! They were red, yellow, and blue! I had a Sesame Street Balloon too! I had a lot of people at my party. My granny, my uncle Charlie and his family and my lola, pappo, and auntie too! Lots of mommy and daddy's friends came too! Some I haven't seen for a long time!

We had a ton of food, including my favorite, pulled pork! I got lots of presents, but I was so tired I fell asleep! My daddy had to open them for me! I got a savings bond from my granny. Clothes from my uncle Charlie. A Winnie the Pooh riding airplane from my Auntie Michelle. I got a swing, telephone, and blocks eating hippo from my mommy & daddy! I got lots of other gifts too, but the best was from my Lola & Pappo! They got me a John Deer Power Wheels! I love honking the horn!

Well, I'm ready for breakfast, so I'll write more later!

I'm a big boy now!

I'm a big boy now! My mommy and daddy say that since I'll be one in a few days that I get to sit facing forward in the car! I love it. I smiled all day, everywhere we went! I can see everything now! YAY!

I love balloons!

Every time I go to the grocery store I see balloons everywhere! When mommy has extra change, she gets me one! I love balloons. Today, she bought me a red balloon! She also said that she pre-ordered balloons for my birthday party! I can't wait...MORE BALLOONS!

My lola bought me some new spring clothes too! She's so smart. She got a good deal at Kauffmans and got me $150 worth of clothes for $98! I'm so stylish she says! She got me these cute rompers with pictures on the bum! Mommy already washed them and hung them in my closet! She says she can't wait for it to warm up so she can put them on me and we go play outside.

Well, overall, I'm doing pretty good! I can drink from a sippy all by myself, until I have to tilt my head back. I'm also down to 1 nap a day. It's hard because I get sooooo tired, but it seems to help me sleep through the night! Well, I have to go. Nap time!

No doctor needed this time!

Mommy did it! Diaper rash gone! She says I'm just a little pink now.

Now it's birthday planning time! She says we've got kites and bubbles to pass out to the people as prizes instead of goodie bags. So far only 2 kids will be coming, but plenty of friends and family! I can't wait. I haven't seen Miss Atije or Miss Trish in a long time! Miss Neva will be coming too! OH BOY! I can't wait to try cake. The last cake I tried, Auntie Michelle's birthday cake, scared me. I cried and cried. Mommy says mine shouldn't scare me. We'll see.

Diaper Rash!!!!!

OH NO!!!! I've got a diaper rash! My 1st one ever!!!! Mommy says that if it doesn't get better in a day or 2 then she'll call the doctor. My bum is all red!!!! Mommy says she has a few tricks to try then if they don't work, she'll talk to Dr. Aldrich! I hate seeing the doctor. I've also just been told that my 12 month appointment will be filled with shots too!

Ready For Spring!

I am sooooo ready for spring now! My lola bought me a bicycle seat so I can ride with mommy on her bike. Mommy bought me a helmet! I can't wait to get going! I've never been on a bike before. Hurry up and warm up weather! I want out of the house!!!!!

New Clothes!

My mommy is so smart! She bought me some new clothes and saved a lot of money. We went to The Children's Place in Aurora Farms and she bought me clothes worth $104.50 (not including tax) for only $29! There was a huge sale and she had a 15% of coupon. She says we'll go back at the end of the month and use the other coupon right before it expires. We may be able to get more stuff! I can't wait. I'm stylin'! I need the clothes. I only was able to wear this outfit (in the pictures) 1 time. I couldn't even button the collar and put the tie on 'cause the shirt collar was tooooooo small! That's ok though. Daddy thought I was too preppy anyway!

I'm the one with the bear!

Hi everyone!

Just had to share one of my 10 month old pictures! I'll eventually have them all posted, but I love the lady's teddy bear. She let me hold it while I was getting my pictures taken!

I'm eating more solids everyday. I love steak! Mommy bought some fully cooked Tyson Steak strips and I love them! I only have 2 teeth so she really had to chip chop them, but mmmmm mmmmm good!

Planning the Birthday Fun!!!!

Well, I turned 11 months old yesterday and mommy, lola and auntie Michelle have been planning my 1st birthday party. It's gonna be big! Mommy says all of her friends are invited and even some kids! YAY! I have someone to play with!!! We also got my 10th months old pictures back, so mommy may post some up soon! She really loves them. I just love getting my picture taken!

Tummy Flu!!!

Mommy and daddy are really tired and I'm really hungry. I have the tummy flu! Last night I kept puking and puking. Mommy and daddy took turns cleaning me up and changing my sheets! They ended up calling the doctor at 11PM! I'm tired! I'm hungry!
WAHHHHHHH!

Cruisen....

I crusing everywhere! As soon as I get up, I'm off! I still haven't learned how to get back down though. I keep plopping back on my butt!

Mommy and daddy got some portraits done of me again, but I won't be able to post them until March. Mommy says they don't come back till Feb. 28th and I'd have to wait to see them! I don't know how to be patient! She also says I'm growing like a weed because although I'm only 10 months old, I am already wearing 18 month size clothes! She says I'm so tall!

Walking....

Well, now I'm walking with help! I can grab mommy and daddys fingers and walk anywhere! I'm zooming. I still only say 'mama', but I'm sure 'dada' ain't far away! Well, I'll keep you posted! It's snack time!

It's been way to long!

Well, I've been busy! Sorry I haven't written in awhile, but I've been trying to learn to walk! Yep! I can sit up on my own. I can get down on my own. I can get on my knees. I can fall from my knees. I can grab hold of things and stand up. I can definately fall! I've got many bumps and bruises already. Mom says she's going to pull a Homer Simpson and cover everything in foam. Daddy laughed!

Well, at my 9 months appointment, the doctor says I'm doing well and advanced for my age. I'm 29 1/4 inches tall! She says that puts me in the 75 percentile. I'm 19 LBS and 10 ozs. She says that's under the 50th percentile. Mommy can't understand that. She says I eat like a pig. The doctor contributes it to being a very active boy!

Guess what?! I even said my 1st word. I said 'mamma'. I say it all day long. Mamma, mamma, mamma!

LEGOS!

Mommy & Daddy got me large legos. I love them. The bumble bee and lady bug are rattles! I love them best. Mommy says I can help her make a Lego Masterpiece! I can't wait!

Well, overall, I'm doing better now. I've over my virus and stuffy nose and am having so much fun!

9 Months Today!

I've got 2 teeth! I also turned 9 months old today! I can't wait till I start talking. I think I'll drive mommy and daddy crazy and talk up a storm once I can talk! But right now my nose is stuffy. I hate it when mommy and daddy put drops up my nose! AHHHH!

Well, now that the holidays are over, it's time to get down to business! More teeth are on their way!

Opening Gifts!!

Well, 1st I must apologize for the long stretch of nothing. I've been sick. I had a fever for 3 days and mommy and daddy had to take me to the doctor. I've been very unhappy! They have been really tired!!!

So, anyways, here's the scoop on what's been happening. Christmas was really fun! Granny was supposed to come over for Christmas Eve dinner but she got sick too and couldn't come. I'm not really sure what happened to uncle Richard, but he couldn't make it either. So, mommy, daddy and I had loads of fun without them. We had a huge dinner! I got to eat some mash potatoes all by myself! I also got to open my presents from mommy and daddy. They got me loads of stuff! Here's a picture of me opening a gift with daddy! I love my walker! I wasn't feeling well, so I just wore my nighty. I went straight to sleep after opening my gifts.
Christmas day is a longer story so I'll save that for later!

Merry Christmas!

MERRY CHRISTMAS! I just had to say that to everyone! It's my 1st! I can't wait to get my hands on all the paper. Mommy's been really busy cleaning and cooking. She says we have to have a good dinner ready for granny. Daddy's been busy watching me! We have tons of fun!

My 1st Fall!

Well! Mommy finally developed my fall pictures! I love leaves. Yummmmmmy! I had fun in the leaves! In this picture I haven't crawled yet, but as you can see, I can sit on my own!

It's been too long since I last wrote!

Well, Christmas is almost upon us and I'm happy as a clam. Mommy says I'll be spoiled this year, but I still don't know what that is! Well, let's see! Where to pick-up? I can crawl now! I'm getting into everything! I love mommy and daddy's Cd's! They make loud clinks! I'm also starting to pull myself up into a sitting position! I don't fall over so easy either! I'm on my way!

My 1st tooth!

My 1st tooth! Mommy got a picture of it! Now I'm working on 3 and 4. They're coming in at once! OWWWWWW! I've been crying on and off for 2 days now. Mommy and daddy are tired! But that's ok. They say I can eat new things now! We'll see. I played with my peas more than eating them. Daddy found a whole bunch of peas in the bottom of my highchair!

I've been dubbed, "The Crawler!"

Well, not only can I sit by myself, mommy and daddy have dubbed me, "The Crawler." I can move and groove now! My tummy still drags on the floor, but I'm moving now! Ha, ha, ha! The things I can do now! Look out world! Here I come.

We've got to catch up! 1st here is a picture of me trick-or-treating at Chapel Hill mall in Akron. I had fun! Lots of stickers! Daddy held me most of the time! He had fun too! Mommy took alot of pictures!

Now I can drag myself across the floor! I can't figure how my legs and arms alternate yet, but I'm moving! Mommy wants to get more gates! She says I'm a mover and a groover!

On a sad note, due to my mild allergy to cats, mommy and daddy finally found a new home for kitty! I miss him! Mommy really misses him too! But, my little red bumps are finally disappearing! Mommy has done a total cleaning of the house and there's no cat hair in sight! I can crawl anywhere now and not have to worry about litter or hair! YAY!

Well, so far that's it! Not much else going on! I gotta go play now!

Happy Turkey Day!

Happy turkey day! I'm happy! It's my 1st turkey day. I got sick! :<

My 1st pumpkin!

Mommy and daddy finally got their film developed. Now I can show you a picture of me with my 1st pumpkin! It's so big! I love it though. They even let me see them carve it up!

Well, everything here it good. I finally got a snow suit. Lola had to take me out shopping. She had fun! She also got me a christmas outfit! My lola spoils me! I love my lola! I'll have to show you pictures sometime. Well, my 2nd tooth is coming in quick! I got 2 teeth! Pictures of that soon too!

Crawling?

Hi all!
It's been crazy here! I'm starting to rock back and forth in order to crawl and yesterday I took a nose dive! I kinda jumped and WAMMMMM! Face first into my puzzle mats. I cried! I didn't know what happened! Daddy didn't know wether to laugh or cry too!

I'm also gaining a toothy smile! My 2nd tooth is coming in quick. It's harder this time than the 1st tooth! I woke up every 2 hours the other night and last night! Mommy is REALLLLLLLYYYYY tired. So am I, but I don't want to sleep. I want to play!!!!

2nd Tooth!

Hi all!
I've been busy so sorry for little updates lately! I've been busy growing a 2nd tooth! It just broke the surface and man am I tired. I've been chewing everything in site! Guess what else? Mommy calls me a rocking horse. I've been on my knees rocking back and forth. It's fun! Mommy says I'll be crawling soon, but I don't know. This rocking thing is pretty fun for now!

Flu Shots!!!!

I got the 2nd half of my flu shot today. I didn't even cry! Mommy was so proud! She didn't cry either! I got a colorful band-aid too. It was of the wiggles. Still not sure who that is, but it was colorful! Oh well. Nothng new here. My tooth still bothers me, but I get to eat new things now so it's a good trade.

7 Months today!

Today I turned 7 months old. I have 1 tooth that has appeared! YAY!!!! I can eat solids soon. Not this pureed stuff! Real food. Soon, I'll be able to eat pasta and other yummy things. But first I have to get teeth. One tooth ain't gonna cut it. Mommy and daddy started the switch from soy to regular formula too. My doctor said to try milk based formula so I can more easily convert to milk when the time comes. Just to test to see if I still get bad gas with milk. We'll see. Also, my lola took me shopping. She bought a highchair just for me to keep at her place. I can't wait to try it out. She also bought me a winter cap with mittens. It's blue. Mommy thinks it's cute.
Well, I better get going. I have a long day of playing tomorrow!

My 1st tooth!

October 26th, 2005 was when my 1st tooth appeared out of my gums! Today, my second tooth appears! Mommy and daddy are very tired. I keep crying! It hurts so much! I don't want anyone to see or touch them! I keep drooling too! Mommy keeps changing my bib, but that doesn't seem to help!

Trick or Treat!

Mommy and daddy took me out trick or treating tonight at Chapel Hill Mall! I had a ball, but I don't understand why everyone was calling me "Chicken Little." Oh well. I got lots of stickers and some candy that mommy and daddy said they'd save for me. They said cany doesn't spoil. I don't know. I think they're going to eat it.
Anyways, here's a picture of me with mommy and daddy. We finally got them back. I like this one. I don't want to show everyone all of the pictures though. She plans on putting some in the christmas cards this year! Well, I better go. It's bedtime.

Halloween Costume!

My mommy and daddy are going to dress me as a chicken this year! They're going to dress as ranchers. We all going out as chicken and chicken farmers! Yeyyyyyy! Candy!!! But wait.... I can't eat candy!

FEET!!!

I can touch my feet! I can also sit on my own with very little help! I can sit by myself for about 5 minutes before I fall backwards. Mommy and daddy are so proud. I just had to share my latest news!

Daddy & Me: Relaxing!

I love my daddy. We relax together often. Anyways, things are going great here. I had my first experience with crackers today. I love crackers. I ate them all by myself. I also had strawberry yogurt for the first time. I really like that. Mommy says it's good for me. I don't care. It tastes good!

Gonna Getcha Good!

HI! I've been busy with tummy time and learning to crawl. I'm still trying to get my knees under me so I can balance. That ain't going to well. I love sitting though. I can sit unaided for a little bit before my round bottom takes over! I love playing on my puzzle mat with my piano. I love the music I make!

My 1st tub bath (sitting up)

I finally can sit in the tub. I finally like sitting in the tub. Mommy and daddy were so excited they took a picture. Here it is!

Today I went to school with mommy. She had a hard time scheduling for classes, but I had a wonderful time looking around and talking to people! Yeah! I like school.

Creamed Spinach!

OK. I remember what daddy was feeding me. Creamed Spinach! I hate creamed spinach! EWWWWWWWW! Mommy says it's good for me though and will buy another jar in a few weeks to see if I'll like it better then. I don't think so! But, anyways, daddy loves this picture. Mommy can't stop laughing! Daddy calls this my "Hitler" look! Who's hitler?

Well, mommy and me when Christmas shopping today. We bought half of auntie Michelle's gift and I bought a gift for daddy. It cost me five bucks with tax. Wow. Where did the money go?! I need to ask for a raise in my allowance!

Browns Town!

Here's a picture of me and my daddy enjoying a Sunday afternoon with football. My daddy is a big browns fan. I have no idea what football is but I love all the colors that flash on the television. We even have matching outfits!

Well, Saturday, I got my picture taken in my Halloween costume. Everyone loved it. I'll show it to you when it's closer to Halloween. I don't want anyone stealing my ideas! We also had a family portrait done. Yeah. Now I can show all the other kids my mommy and daddy. Whenever I meet other kids! Well, I better get going. It's bedtime!

Ok, so now daddy has finally found some time to feed me. It was fun! I can't remember what I was eating when mommy took the picture, but we were messy! That's ok. I was ready for my bath anyways!

So, nothing much going on here! I'm finally sitting more on my own. I still need mommy to catch me because I have round butt! I keep rolling! Well, anyways, I better get going. It's dinner time!!!!

6th Month check-up

I had my 6th month check-up today! I'm 18 LBS exactly and 27 inches long. I may have lost weight, but I grew and inch. The doctor thinks the new nurse may have weighted me wrong. Mommy thinks it is possible that's it, but it could be the fact that I just don't eat as much formula as I should. I love my vegetables and fruit! My height & weight puts me in the 70th percentile, while my head circumfrance is in the 50% with it being 17.4 inches.

I do all the things I should at 6 months also. The doctor says I'm right on schedule with teething, sitting w/support, reaching & grabbing toys, babbling and showing stranger anxiety. I got my shots too. Even an extra one. I got the flu shot. AHHHHHHH!
I'm upset!
Well, I gotta go make mommy & daddy pay!

6 Months Old today...2 Days ago!!!

Yeah! I'm 1/2 a year old! I can't believe it. Neither can mommy and daddy! They say I'm becoming a big boy. I'm even eating teething biscuits, drinking juice, and eating all kinds of stage 2 foods. I'm so happy. I can eat a variety of things!


Well, here's a picture of me in my favorite overalls. I can also sit supported now. Not quite the independent sitter right now, but soon!

Daddy & Me

This is a picture of daddy and me at the Montgomery Labor Day Picnic! I "won" a prize. It's a green frog! Mommy washed it for me, but I just like to look at it. I don't play with it much. It's too cute!


Well, everything here is going good. Mommy claims she has 3 christmas gifts for me. I don't know about that. I never see them. Well, I better get going. I just had to share my prize!

Sippy Time Already!

Now I can use a sippy too. I'm not very good at it. Sometimes I hit my eye instead of my mouth. Sometimes when I get frustrated (often) I throw my sippy to the floor! I'm trying and mommy & daddy say I'm doing well. We'll see. Here's a picture of me having a good moment with the sippy!
